Hello everyone!

Casey and I have been MIA….. the reasoning was we were waiting until we got this beauty!!!

… thanks mom! (early xmas present)

A few months ago we signed up for the biggest cookie swap ever! Two lovely ladies (Lindsay and Julie) put together a food blogger cookie swap and Casey and I figured it would be a fun thing to do to kick off the holiday season.

We made ginger molasses cookies for sarah, kimberly, and ashley, we hope you ladies enjoyed them!

Recipe: Yields 36 cookies

Ginger Molasses Cookies (vegan)

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup blackstrap molasses
2/3 cup canola oil
6 tablespoons nondairy milk (we used chocolate)
1  1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
4 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350˚F
2. In a bowl mix sugar, molasses, oil, milk.
3. Mix in flours, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt
4. Place rounded tablespoons 3 inches apart on a cookie sheet
5. Enjoy!
